Cookie Choices Here

The static site code does not set HTTP cookies or load optional advertising or analytics. This page explains the small preference you can choose to save in your browser.

Effective: 2026.

Cookies and localStorage are different

An HTTP cookie is a small value that a browser may send with requests to a website. localStorage is a separate browser facility that lets a site's scripts retain values on the device. A localStorage value is not automatically attached to every web request.

The supplied pages use localStorage only when you save a choice using the controls below. The reading guides and the contact draft tool do not require that preference in order to work.

What is stored

Storage itemPurposeDuration
poppixayardmn-cookie-choiceRemembers “accepted” or “essential” on this browser and originUntil replaced, removed through browser settings, or cleared by the browser

This value does not contain your name, email, message, or photographs. The site's code does not use it to build a browsing profile or send it to an analytics service.

Save your preference

Both choices leave this static site without optional tracking. “Accept” records acceptance; it does not activate a service that is not present. You can change your selection at any time.

No choice has been checked yet. JavaScript is needed to read or save a preference.

How to remove a saved choice

Open your browser's privacy or site settings, find data for poppixayardmn.pics, and clear that site's storage. The exact labels vary by browser. Clearing site data can also remove other settings your browser associates with the domain. Private browsing or storage-blocking settings may prevent persistence altogether.

Other device and hosting behavior

Your browser may cache files, restore form fields, or keep downloaded text drafts. Those features are not cookies set by the site's JavaScript. Your hosting connection may also involve security or infrastructure processing outside the static page code. The privacy notice explains the boundary between the supplied pages and ordinary hosting requests.
